New Members Welcome

In the beginning....

The Club has been operational since 1946. It commenced at the Geraldton Airport, in 1948 it moved to the Racecourse and then moved to its current location in 1955.

The current 21 year lease with Council has several years to run. Ongoing discussions are taking place with Council on possible other venues if Council wish to see the Club relocate in the future. The existing site is ideal for the Club and the Club would be reluctant to relocate unless Council’s long term plans preclude the renewal of the lease.

At the conclusion of the 1999 Crayfish Carnival the old clubhouse was demolished and the new clubhouse was built by a very dedicated and hard working group of members. The Clubhouse was officially opened by MLA member, Mr. Wilson Tuckey at the 2000 Crayfish Carnival.

The Club hosts two major events each year the Corporate Cup which is a fundraising event for local community groups which commenced in 1999 and the Crayfish Carnival which is attended by in excess of 200 shooters from throughout Australia & New Zealand commenced in 1981.
